Safe, Respectful and Person-Centred Supports
KiDS Plus provides supports that are:
• Safe, competent and delivered with care and skill
• Tailored to individual needs and goals
• Delivered by appropriately trained and supervised staff
• Culturally sensitive and inclusive of diverse backgrounds, identities and beliefs
• Clear in communication, accessible and responsive to individual preferences
We ensure participants receive accurate information about services, costs and options so they can make informed decisions.
Privacy and Confidentiality
We respect and protect the privacy of participants in accordance with Commonwealth and State legislation.
We:
• Collect and store personal information securely
• Explain how information is used
• Provide access to records upon request
• Maintain confidentiality at all times
Zero Tolerance for Abuse and Misconduct
KiDS Plus adopts a zero-tolerance approach to:
• Violence
• Abuse and neglect
• Exploitation
• Sexual misconduct
We have clear processes to prevent, identify and respond to concerns, including mandatory reporting to the NDIS Commission and relevant authorities where required
Integrity and Transparency
